Introduction to embedded systems and microcontroller; instruction set; data representations; assembly programming; mixed C/assembly programming; memory organization; interrupt processing; I/O devices and interfacing; programming laboratory. Course Information: Credit is not given for ECE 266 if the student has credit in CS 261 . Extensive computer use required. Prerequisite(s): CS 107 ; and Credit or concurrent registration in ECE 265 .
