About This Class

One-semester introduction to organic chemistry as it pertains to biological systems, biomedical sciences and chemical biology. Course Information: Credit is not given for CHEM 230 if student has credit in CHEM 232 or CHEM 234 . Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in CHEM 122 and Grade of C or better in CHEM 123 ; or Grade of C or better in CHEM 116 ; or Grade of C or better in CHEM 115 ; or Grade of C or better in CHEM 130; or consent of the instructor. Class Schedule Information: This course is intended for students intending to major in Biological Sciences and Integrated Health Studies and should not be taken by those who need CHEM 232 .
