General and analytical chemistry with laboratory. Coverage of the fundamentals of chemistry including atomic and molecular structure, thermodynamics, and kinetics. Coverage of principles of analytical chemistry, including the use of instrumentation. Course Information: Credit is not given for CHEM 118 if the student has credit in CHEM 114 or CHEM 124 and CHEM 125 . Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in CHEM 116 .
