Introduction to practical and theoretical perspectives in art education. Students will be introduced to methods of interpretation and meaning making, and learn how art educators work in collaboration with diverse populations. Course Information: Extensive computer use required. Field trip required at a nominal fee. Students are not required to have a background in art education. Class Schedule Information: To be properly registered, students must enroll in one Lecture-Discussion and one Discussion UIC GE Creative Arts course, and UIC GE Individual and Society course .
